Girls Football Cup Heads South

The year 5+6 girls took to the football cup stage tonight at Tanbridge and they provided some scintillating action to warm-up the large watching band of spectating parents and teachers. Southwater took top honours as their A team won all their matches, including a 1-0 victory against Heron Way A in the final achieved by a wonder strike. Holbrook B won Tier 2 and Heron Way B Tier 3.

Net Profit for Nutties

Nuthurst A are this year’s Horsham Primary School Netball League winners after winning tonight’s Tier 1 Play-Offs meeting on The Bridge’s multicourts. They started as favourites and fully justified that tag winning all their three games by strong margins and in good style. Well done too to Steyning A who similarly put their opponents conclusively to the sword on the way to their full house of wins in the Tier 2 play-offs.

Kings Cup Delight

Kingslea won the Horsham Primary Schools Year 6 Open Football Cup last night on the Tanbridge astroturf, squeezing out Heron Way A by virtue of the footgolf challenge used to decide drawn matches in the events. 14 teams entered the competition which involved a first phase of four groups feeding into a second phase of another four.
