A super year 3 Horsham Area Primary Schools open football tournament tonight at the Tanbridge astroturf with eight teams from seven schools contesting it. Well done to North Heath School for racking up five straight victories without conceding a goal and scoring plenty to take the honours.

Division 2 brought the curtain down in good style on this year’s Horsham Primary Schools Netball League tonight at The Bridge. With Castlewood absent and Heron Way having played all its matches in the first meeting six teams convened for the second instalment of Phase 2 matches in the lower tier.

Yet another dominant night for Leechpool School’s netballers as their A team completed a clean sweep to win Division 1 of the Horsham Primary Schools Netball League at The Bridge leisure centre on Thursday late afternoon.

Steyning followed up their Year 5 Football Cup success last week with their A team triumphing in the Year 4 Football Cup this. Penalty nouse again came to the fore as they saw off the much fancied Leechpool A by that route in the semi before beating Kingslea, a team that finished ahead of them in the Phase 1 group stage, with a second half strike.

A fantastic morning of indoor athletics yesterday as 11 primary school teams containing a total of around 250 children descended (took over!) The Bridge leisure centre for the annual Horsham area year 4 indoor athletics championships.
