Heron Way Win Girls Football League
The third and final meeting of the Horsham Primary Schools Girls Football League took place tonight at the Tanbridge astroturf in bitterly cold weather. Heron Way A were heavy favourites starting the night in pole position and never looked like relinquishing that advantage as they added another three wins to their record. The bigger question mark hovered around second spot with Southwater and Leechpool front sides matching each other point for point but the former prevailing by a goal difference of just three.
Leechpool A Shade It In Netball Group Decider
Some more good matches were played tonight at The Bridge in the second meeting of Pool A of the Horsham Primary Schools Netball League. Phase 1 f the league is now completed and groups will be re-arranged for the new year with promotion of the top teams to an upper division and the others formiong a lower division.
Kingslea and Leechpool B Hockey Battle Goes to the Wire
A super second and final meeting of the Horsham Primary Schools Hockey League tonight on the Tanbridge astroturf. Kingslea and Leechpool B both started on 28 points at the top of the table and a battle royale was engaged for the title.
North Heath A Turn On the Netball Style
Pool A of the Horsham Primary Schools Netball League finally got underway at The Bridge tonight with 8 teams from six schools contesting a first meeting of 14 matches total.
Advantage Herons As Girls Football League Hots Up
Some more great matches in the second meeting of the Horsham Primary Schools Girls Football League tonight on the Tanbridge astroturf. Southwater and Heron Way A teams started in the two top spots and duly went unbeaten again on the night but their title-hunting party has been crashed into by a Leechpool A team that enjoyed four straight wins second time out.
Kingslea and Leechpool B Vie for Hockey Supremacy
Seven teams from five schools contested the first meeting of this season’s Horsham Primary Schools Hockey League on the Tanbridge astroturf tonight. The Kingslea and Leechpool B teams emerged as the dominant forces, both accumulating 28 points but the former finishing just in front on goal difference in the end of night table. The only points they each dropped ended up against each other when they drew 1-1.
