Southwater On Song Again to Win Year 4 Football
Year 4 children strutted their stuff on the Tanbridge astroturf tonight. 11 teams came together and Southwater came away with the main honours. Southwater made an inauspicious start with a goalless draw versus Heron Way but after that they went into overdrive with big wins over Leechpool B and Pulborough ensuring their progress to the second stage top tier on goal difference over the Herons..

All Saints in Netball Heaven
All Saints School, Horsham is the champion primary school netball team in the Horsham area for this season as an exciting Division A contest reached its climax. Having edged the top place in the league standings over Kingslea on goal difference the two came together in the first place play-off, and there was nothing marginal about that final encounter the Saints marching in to the tune of 6-1.

Southwater Year 4’s Win Indoor Athletics Event
Another super primary school sports hall athletics ran this morning at The Bridge leisure centre with year 4’s taking their turn to do battle, around 200 of them. Southwater’s contingent of athletes was a chip off the old block of the success record they have built up over many years in this sport, as they amassed a winning total of 368 points.

Smooth Southwater Win Year 5 Football Tournament
The Year 5 Mixed Football Tournament was played on the Tanbridge astro tonight. With only eight teams involved from seven schools a simple round-robin approach was adopted. Southwater clearly enjoyed the format as they proceeded to win it by accumulating six wins from their seven matches.

Netball Div 2 Opens With a Bang
Another fantastic primary schools netball league meeting at The Bridge tonight with Phase 2 Division 2 opening up with some excellent matches. Castlewood hold pole position after two big wins, including one over nearest rivals North Heath A, and a draw.

Year 5+6 Girls Football Cup Goes to the Wire
Another super football tournament on the Tanbridge astroturf last night as local primary school year 5 and 6 girls coming in search of glory. 10 teams entered the event and were split into two round-robin groups for the initial group phase.
