Powerful Starts in Netball Pool B from Nuthurst and Southwater A Teams

Pool B of the Horsham Primary Schools Netball League started up tonight at The Bridge’s multicourts. Thankfully there was no repeat of the drama of Pool A two weeks ago where the schedule was disrupted by two teams not being able to get through flooded roads to make the opening meeting. This time all eight teams were there in good time and raring to go.

Colgate are the New Sheriffs of Dodge City

Colgate A won the Association of Small Schools Horsham (ASSH) year 3+4 dodgeball festival at Millais School yesterday. The festival was a centrepiece of the weekly project work Horsham Sports Services is currently undertaking in four ASSH schools – Colgate, Holy Trinity Lower Beeding, St Peter’s Cowfold and Rusper.

Heron Way and St Peter’s Cowfold Win Year 5+6 Football League Honours

The second and final meeting of the Year 5+6 Horsham Primary Schools Football League finally took place tonight on The Bridge’s multicourts, catching up  after the initial rain postponement a few weeks ago. Heron Way A won a closely fought Division 1 just ahead of Southwater A and Kingslea A. St Peter’s Cowfold won Division 2 despite a late challenge from Heron Way B keeping them on their toes.

Leechpool Set the Early Netball Pace

Leechpool were fastest out of the blocks at the recent first Horsham Primary Schools Netball League meeting of the season with both their A and B teams winning all of their games, three and two of them respectively, in Pool A.

No Doubts for South

Southwater Junior Academy A team won this year’s Horsham Area Primary Schools Girls Football League tonight. Going into the third and final meeting on the Tanbridge astroturf as leaders there was a bit of pressure on the Southies as Heron Way had nicked a couple of points off them late in the last meeting and the Steyning and Kingslea front teams were hot on their tail, the latter still due to play them.
