A super Horsham Area Primary Schools Rounders Tournament earlier today hosted by Kingslea School, with Southwater clinching the title after the closest of finals against Leechpool A.

St Robert Southwell and Loxwood schools took the two age group titles on offer on Friday in the Horsham Area Small Schools Quadkids District Sports events run at The Bridge leisure centre’s athletics track.

The annual Horsham Primary Schools Stoolball Tournament took place at Horsham Sports Club on Wednesday morning. Thankfully, despite some dark clouds, the weather held and allowed 13 teams to battle it out. Kingslea A proved to be top dogs

The Horsham area primary school tennis competitions were concluded last night with the teams engaging in doubles matches for the second week, in both age groups. Shelley started the night leading the year 3+4 event and it was no surprise to see them add to their margin over St Mary’s by the end. Southwater were not quite as dominant in their second outing in the year 5+6s, where there was a number of close matches, but had enough margin to play with from the singles matches to never really feel under threat of relinquishing top spot.

This year’s Horsham Primary Schools Tennis Leagues got underway at Horsham Tennis Club this afternoon with four local schools sending teams to enter one or both of the age groups, school years 3+4 and 5+6.

St Robert Southwell won the Horsham Area Year 3+4 Basketball Championships tonight at Kingslea School to give another small school success in local primary school basketball following St Mary’s win in the year 5+6 tournament last week. It’s great to see success being spread around.
