Heavens Above as All Saints and St Mary’s Win Swim Gala Glory

The annual Horsham Primary Schools Swimming Gala ran at Pavilions in the Park this afternoon with eight schools taking part. Three schools entered the A teams event which was for teams that included some or all club swimmers. Eight took part in the B teams event in which club swimmers were excluded.

Greenway Dodgeball Triumph

Another fantastic dodgeball tournament at The Bridge tonight with the primary school year 3+4 teams gathering for glory. Wet weather consigned the event to the two court indoor venue of the athletics club. Greenway took a liking to the setting winning all four of its matches, including a 1-0 one over West Chiltington in the last one, to take the title.

Allstars and Steyning D Take Dodge Honours

With dodgeball being such a popular primary school sport these days teams which were too late to secure a space in the main competitions this year took part in a supplementary event that catered for both the year 3+4 and 5+6 age groups at The Bridge leisure centre’s indoor athletics facility.

Holbrook Dodgeball Happiness

A fantastic inter-school dodgeball competition ran in the indoor athletics hall at The Bridge last night. The event was planned for outdoors on four courts but weather dictated the process came inside to be played on two. The change made for a lot more noise and atmosphere though and in that context it was Holbrook School’s team that rose to the occasion to win the event, beating West Chiltington A.

Kings Conquer

A tremendous Year 5 Indoor Athletics Competition took place at Forest School today. The children acquitted themselves brilliantly across the range of track and field events officiated brilliantly by year 7+8 sports leaders from Forest’s ranks.
