Shelley and Southwater Off to Tennis Fliers
This year’s Horsham Primary Schools Tennis Leagues got underway at Horsham Tennis Club this afternoon with four local schools sending teams to enter one or both of the age groups, school years 3+4 and 5+6.

Late St Rob Surge to Win Year 3+4 Basketball
St Robert Southwell won the Horsham Area Year 3+4 Basketball Championships tonight at Kingslea School to give another small school success in local primary school basketball following St Mary’s win in the year 5+6 tournament last week. It’s great to see success being spread around.

St Mary’s Jump to Victory
St Mary’s, Horsham won the Horsham Area Primary Schools Year 5+6 Basketball Competition tonight with powerful play that earned it a full house of five wins from five matches to successfully come through the field of 11 teams from six local schools.

Net Gain for the Leechpool Lads
The primary schools netball competition season was climaxed this afternoon with a boys tournament at The Bridge. Six teams entered the fray and Leechpool A emerged as victors thrashing Kingslea A in the final 8-1 albeit narrowly progressing out of their group as winners after St Robert Southwell pushed them all the way, only losing out by virtue of one less goal scored with the two finishing level on points and goal difference.

Southwater Win Year 3+4 Girls Football Tournament
The final football instalment of the local primary schools sport calendar ran today with a large entry of year 3+4 girls teams coming together at Kingslea School for an excellent bash. Southwater started well, finished strong and weren’t half bad in the middle too to come through as convincing winners, beating hosts Kingslea 4-1 in the final.

Southwater added the Horsham Year 3 Football Cup to their list of victories for the season tonight at Tanbridge as they overcame St Mary’s Pulborough 5-2 in the final.
