Allstars and Steyning D Take Dodge Honours
With dodgeball being such a popular primary school sport these days teams which were too late to secure a space in the main competitions this year took part in a supplementary event that catered for both the year 3+4 and 5+6 age groups at The Bridge leisure centre’s indoor athletics facility.

Holbrook Dodgeball Happiness
A fantastic inter-school dodgeball competition ran in the indoor athletics hall at The Bridge last night. The event was planned for outdoors on four courts but weather dictated the process came inside to be played on two. The change made for a lot more noise and atmosphere though and in that context it was Holbrook School’s team that rose to the occasion to win the event, beating West Chiltington A.

Storrington Boys Make Some TT Noise
Storrington Primary is the champion table tennis school in the Horsham District after tonight’s team matchplay competition at Forest School in Horsham.

Kings Conquer
A tremendous Year 5 Indoor Athletics Competition took place at Forest School today. The children acquitted themselves brilliantly across the range of track and field events officiated brilliantly by year 7+8 sports leaders from Forest’s ranks.

Leechpool Hold Off Kingslea to Win Hockey League
The Horsham area’s primary school hockey teams convened again tonight on the Tanbridge astroturf to produce some entertaining play in the second and final instalment of the annually contested league. Despite the arctic conditions the children applied themselves fantastically well and plenty of goals were scored.

Southwater Hold Off Leechpool to Win Girls Football League
Another super night of football tonight, in spite of the arctic cold and wind but thankfully just in time to avoid the main thrust of heavy rain, at the Tanbridge astroturf to conclude the Horsham Primary Schools Girls Football League. Well done to Southwater for holding off Leechpool A’s valiant challenge to win the Division A title.
