Basketball Double for Kingslea
It was the turn of the year 3+4 basketballers from local primary schools to strut their stuff tonight at Kingslea School. Just like in the year 5+6s it was Kingslea A who came through to win the glory, albeit very closely, requiring superior baskets difference (‘BD’ in the results table below) to elevate them above St Robert Southwell into top spot.
Southwater Edge Out Leechpool in Year 3+4 Girls Football Tournament
Southwater A won the Year 3+4 Primary Schools Girls Football competition at Kingslea School today coming out the right side of a monumental toe-to-toe tussle with Leechpool A by virtue of superior goal difference. Small margins as they say.
Kings Crowned Year 5+6 Basketball Champs
The next generation of basketball talent in the Horsham area was on show at Kingslea School tonight as 13 primary school year 5+6 teams congregated to play their annual tournament. Host school Kingslea proved the dominant force as its A and B teams took first and second spots respectively, Kingslea A winning all its five matches on the night to earn their glory.

The Year 3’s brought the latest instalment of the primary school football tournament series at Tanbridge tonight and it was Leechpool A who took the top prize with a victory against Shelley in the final, on penalties after the match ended scoreless at the end of normal time.
