This Girl Can has announced partnerships with two well known brands as it continues its quest to inspire more women to get active on their own terms. The partnerships, which will launch in May, are the first in an innovative new working model for the award-winning campaign.
All Saints won the first ever boys only primary schools netball tournament staged in the Horsham District earlier this evening at The Bridge leisure centre. Five teams from four schools took part and the teams produced some great matches in a simple round-robin format where all played all.
Keep the Size of Your Waist to Less Than Half of Your Height, Updated NICE Draft Guideline Recommends
People are being encouraged to keep their waist measurement to less than half their height to reduce the risk of potential health problems, according to recommendations in an updated NICE draft guideline.
New rules requiring calorie information to be displayed on menus and food labels came into force on 6th April. The changes, which were approved by Parliament in 2021 – mean it is now a legal requirement for large businesses with more than 250 employees, including cafes, restaurants and takeaways, to display calorie information of non-prepacked food and soft drinks.
This year’s primary schools netball league came to a close today with the last meeting of Division B. Well done to Southwater B for coming through convincingly as champions but aside from a one-sided final which they won against Nuthurst C all other matches on the night were closely fought reflecting the well balanced and at times fascinating nature of the division in the second phase.
