Southwater Crack Open the Nuts to Win Div B
This year’s primary schools netball league came to a close today with the last meeting of Division B. Well done to Southwater B for coming through convincingly as champions but aside from a one-sided final which they won against Nuthurst C all other matches on the night were closely fought reflecting the well balanced and at times fascinating nature of the division in the second phase.

Year 3 Glee for Heron Way
Twelve year 3 school teams made for an excellent competition to complete the series of primary school football cups that have been taking place on recent Fridays on the Tanbridge astroturf. Heron Way emerged as winners beating Leechpool A 2-0 in the final.
Superior Goal Difference Sees Herons Through to Another Football Triumph
More football honours came the way of Heron Way on Monday afternoon as their A team won the year 5+6 inclusive football competition hosted at their school. But it was close as they finished level on 17 points with two other teams – Southwater A and Heron Way B – and so had to rely on their superior goal difference to see them through.
Year 3+4 Netball Festival Heads South
Nine teams from seven local primary schools took part in a fabulous netball festival at The Bridge leisure centre this afternoon. Southwater Junior Academy took the competition honours of the event but in truth the biggest winner was fun. Around 90 children has a great time in a festival that, by teacher request, involved sections of skills development, rules learning and a second honour of competitive matchplay.

Kingslea won the year 4 primary schools football cup last night with a 1-0 victory over Heron Way A in a tight and high quality final.
Southwater Book Their Play-Off Final Spot
Southwater B confirmed their spot in the play-off final of the primary schools netball league Division B this evening but who will join them is still very much to be decided with Leechpool C and Kingslea A still in the running for second spot and Nuthurst C still a mathematical possibility if they hit form in their last match and their D team can cause an upset against Kingslea.
