Large Schools Year 5/6 District Sports, Friday 27th June 2025, 12.45-4pm, Broadbridge Heath Leisure Centre

Each team will need to bring 20 pupils – 5 x year 5 girls, 5 x year 5 boys, 5 x year 6 girls, 5 x year 6 boys

Each athlete will take part in a carousel of 4 athletics events; 

1. 80m sprint
2. 80m hurdles
3. Standing long jump
4. Tennis ball throw

There will be finals for the sprint and hurdles events, with the 8 fastest runners from each group qualifying for the final.

There will be four 400m races, with 1 athlete from each group (Y5g’s, Y6b’s etc) taking part.

There will also be two 4 x 100m mixed relay races (Y5 and Y6), 2 boys and 2 girls from each year
