Team size/entry

·       Teams of 5 boys and 5 girls for every year group involved – so 20 per event

Dates/times

·       Small schools A teams year 3+4 / year 5+6 – 20/06/25

·       Large schools A teams year 3+4 – 27/6/25

·       All schools B teams year / year 5+6 – 4/07/25

·       Times – year 3+4 in morning 9.30am-12pm and year 5+6 in afternoon 1-3.30pm

Note: For the B teams day if entries are low it is likely that both the year 3+4 and year 5+6 events will be combined into a morning only event

Cost

·       Each year group (of 10 children: 5 boys + 5 girls) entered will be charged at £55

·       Illustration – School X enters year 3+4 morning event only it will be charged 2 x £55 = £110

Weather considerations

·       If a cancellation decision is necessary, all efforts will be made to communicate to schools in good time. However, experience has shown the format to be quite weather robust

Kit considerations

·       Teams should be in uniform team colours

Parking and spectators

·       Plenty of parking at The Bridge leisure centre

Format Guidance

·       Year 3+4 events: 50m sprint, 400m run, mini-howler throw, standing long jump

·       Year 5+6 events: 75m sprint, 600m run, howler throw, standing long jump

Conditions

·       Invoicing will be undertaken at booking deadline

·       No refunds will be issued for schools/teams that drop out after booking deadline

·       Additional teams can be accepted after the booking deadline at the discretion of the organisers

·      In the event of a bad weather cancellation and where a re-arrangement process is undertaken no refunds will be issued
