There was no stopping Nuthurst A in the final first phase game of the Horsham Primary Schools Netball League on Thursday at The Bridge leisure centre. They scored 33 goals and conceded just three on their way to four Pool B victories to add to the three they won first time out. They will therefore progress to the top level play-off finals to take on the teams that topped Pool A. Southwater A will join them having achieved runners-up spot with six wins but failing to dent the Nuthurst A supremacy in an encounter that finished 5-1.

Two additional Southwater B wins saw them overtake Shelley by one point in the standings but both qualify for the second tier of play-offs. Heron Way had to settle for fifth their crucial game coming against Southwater A which they lost by the odd goal in three. North Heath will join them to the third level play-offs after a night of mixed fortunes that included close losses to Southwater A and Nuthurst B.

In the lower reaches Nuthurst B had a good night winning two and drawing one to claw back ground after their defeat-laden first outing, but they fell one point short of overhauling North Heath. A tough night for Northolmes suffering three more defeats but well done to them for keeping going.
