Southwater Stay Strong

Another great meeting of primary school netball tonight at The Bridge in Division B of the Horsham Schools League. Three courts were in action to allow for some catch-up matches.

Southwater B consolidated their holding of top spot with two more wins at the expense of Nuthurst C and Kingslea A. Nuthurst C remain their nearest challengers despite their 3-1 reverse to the leaders but Southwater B are now the only unbeaten side.

Kingslea A made their delayed entrance and with two wins plus a couple of bonus points in their losses saw them slip into third spot, just one point ahead of Leechpool C who registered a win and a loss on the night.

Nuthurst D gained their first win, 2-1 over St Mary’s, before going down to a narrow loss to Leechpool C. St Mary’s also gained their first win in a five goal thriller against a Kingslea B team that had inflicted a surprise 4-3 defeat to its own A team first up on the night.

Shelley B are in bottom spot but with a game in hand. They only had one competitive game on the night, losing 4-0 to Kingslea A.
