I am pleased to announce the details for this years Horsham Schools Cross Country event, which will once again be held at Christs Hospital School, and will take place on Tuesday 20th February. This year I am pleased to announce the introduction of a Year 3/4 race, which will use the same format as the traditional Year 5/6 event. For each race, each school will need to bring 6 runners, with your top 4 runners’ points being counted towards your teams total points. Please note below the change in the distance of the Year 5/6 event. I have actioned this because having consulted lots of other organisers, and seeing first-hand the difference in our event compared to the Sussex finals where they compete over a 2.5km course, which will run shortly after ours.

Tuesday 20th February
Year 3/4 Girls start 11.30a.m.
Year 3/4 Boys start 11.50a.m.
Presentations 12.30p.m.

Year 5/6 Girls start 1.30p.m.
Year 5/6 Boys start 1.50p.m.
Presentations 2.30p.m.

Years 3/4 will run a distance of 1.2km (the normal course we have used before)
Years 5/6 will run a distance of 2km
