Impact ’25, the Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025 legacy programme delivered by the RFU in partnership with UK Government, Sport England and UK Sport has had a transformational impact on girls’ and women’s rugby in England.

The Impact ’25 programme saw over £14.55m of Government funding invested in the sport over four years up to the end of March 2026, creating more opportunities for women and girls to get involved in rugby.

As the first anniversary of the Red Roses lifting the Women’s World Cup trophy in front of a capacity crowd at the Allianz Stadium approaches, the RFU has published a short report of the programme’s key outcomes.
