Leechpool A won the Horsham Area Small Schools and B Teams Rounders Tournament this morning at Heron way School winning all four of its games in a straight round-robin of five teams, in an event re-scheduled after the original was cancelled due to the recent heatwave.
All matches wre very tightly contested; for example bottom placed Leechpool B only lost to champions Leechpool A 3.5-5. The battle for second place was one of small margins but Rusper prevailed in it scoring 2.5 wins to pip Heron Way A who had 2 wins.
