A full house of wins for the Heron Way year 3+4 girls football team this afternoon in the last local primary schools tournament of the current academic year.
Four teams entered the event held on grass at Kingslea Primary School, playing a double round-robin format. A number of good, close matches ensued but Heron Way always held the upper hand in their matches, only a Kingslea consolation goal in the second meeting between the two managing to breach their defence.
All second match results mirrored the first match ones to give a strange symetry to the final standings. Kingslea won all matches except the Heron Way ones to take second and Leechpool beat Shelley twice to ensure they took third.
