Division 2 brought the curtain down in good style on this year’s Horsham Primary Schools Netball League tonight at The Bridge. With Castlewood absent and Heron Way having played all its matches in the first meeting six teams convened for the second instalment of Phase 2 matches in the lower tier.
Heron Way had set a good target of 29 points for any title chaser to aim for and Nuthurst A committed fully to the task accumulating four straight victories, including ones over other title aspirants Greenway A and All Saints, to achieve their quarry.
Heron Way’s total was not exceeded by anyone else so they took runners-up spot in absentia. Greenway A evidenced their significant improvement by beating All Saints 3-1 in the opening game of the night, a result that ensured they took third at All Saints’ expense.
Well done too to all B teams of Greenway, North Heath and Nuthurst who all gained
