Parkrun primary connects primary schools with their local junior parkrun event, encouraging pupils and their families to be active on a Sunday morning. The programme is supported by funding from the London Marathon Foundation.
parkrun primary is now one of the main ways new people hear about junior parkrun, with 13% of new sign-ups coming from a school. Registrations from schools are twice as ethnically diverse (20%) compared to other registrations (10%).
