A tremendous Year 5 Indoor Athletics Competition took place at Forest School today. The children acquitted themselves brilliantly across the range of track and field events officiated brilliantly by year 7+8 sports leaders from Forest’s ranks.

Kingslea won the day amassing a superb total of 404 points, 68 ahead of second placed Southwater. A big well done also to small school St Robert Southwell coming third with 320 points. A total of 10 primary schools participated making for a busy and noisy scene.

Next instalment of indoor athletics is the year 6’s in two weeks’ time at Forest again.
