Lots of goals again tonight at the second meeting of Pool B in Phase 1 of the Horsham Primary Schools Netball League on wet multicourts at The Bridge leisure centre. At the top of the table things were close a the start of the night and sure enough they were so too by the end of it. Just two points separated the top three teams – Kingslea finishing with 32 to Shelley in third with 30; Southwater sandwiched in between with 31.
Ultimately these small differences do not mean too much occuring in Phase 1; all three qualify in confident session to do battle at the top table in Phase 2. They will be joined in their ascent by North Heath A who won their key match, against a Castlewood team that was lying above them before they played, 6-0.
Castlewood will have to be content with being installed as one of the favourites for the second phase lower tier competition. They will be joined by the two Greenway teams and North Heath B.
All teams now can buckle down to three months of practice ready for when the league re-convenes in March for Phase 2.
