The primary schools netball competition season was climaxed this afternoon with a boys tournament at The Bridge. Six teams entered the fray and Leechpool A emerged as victors thrashing Kingslea A in the final 8-1 albeit narrowly progressing out of their group as winners after St Robert Southwell pushed them all the way, only losing out by virtue of one less goal scored with the two finishing level on points and goal difference. Small margins!
Kingslea A won their group a little more smoothly with two wins without conceding, although Castlewood only succumbed by a single goal. As we know however Leechpool A stepped on the gas big style in the final. St Robert Southwell took third by beating Castlewood and fifth spot was shared by the Kingslea and Leechpool B teams after they drew one each.
Great event boys!
