·       Forest School, Horsham (gymnasium)

Age/gender/eligibility

·       Year 5+6 pupils in any gender balance

·       Younger pupils can play at school discretion

Team size/entry

·       2 players per team

Dates/times

·       Friday 17th January 2024, 4-6pm tbc

Cost

·       £10 per team

Weather considerations

·       None

Kit considerations

·       Children should bring their own bat although there will be a supply of spares available if needed

·       Children should wear dark T-shirts so their opponents can see the white ball against the background

Parking and spectators

·       Forest car park or roadside outside

Other Information

·       Players should have an understanding how to play a basic match

·       It is not a requirement that teachers/ school staff supervise their players although they can if they want to. Children will be appropriately supervised by the organisers.

·      If schools enter a team(s) that is not officially supervised the organisers will request contact/medical information from the schools in the week leading up to the event

Ethos/Fair Play

·       Fun and participation as opposed to win-at-all-costs

·       No trophies/ no medals – certificates for all (winners, runners up, participation achievement recognised)

Booking Links/Deadline

Conditions

·       Invoicing will be undertaken at booking deadline

·       No refunds will be issued for schools/teams that drop out after booking deadline

·       Additional teams can be accepted after the booking deadline at the discretion of the organisers

·      In the event of a bad weather cancellation and where a re-arrangement process is undertaken no refunds will be issued
