Holy Trinity Excels in Pop Lacrosse Comp

Holy Trinity School, Lower Beeding won three out of the four competitions recently staged as part of a pop lacrosse tournament day run by Millais’ year 9 sports leader students at the Horsham secondary school for the ASSH small schools family. Rusper snapped up the other title available.

Four ASSH schools – Holy Trinity, Colgate, Rusper and St Peter’s Cowfold – were represented in all four age/grading categories available.

The Millais students did a fantastic organisational and officiating job for the event which took place on Millais’ astroturf pitch. They even had Christmas music to help create a more exciting atmosphere and the children responded with some skilful and entertaining play. A big thanks to the girls and their PE teacher Miss Page for their excellent and professional work.

The tournament day climaxed a term of lacrosse coaching provision from Horsham Sports Services coaches Louis Power and Kim Roberts and indeed HSS coaches were on hand at the end event to support the teams in their endeavours.
