·       The Bridge leisure centre (outside multicourts)

Age/gender/eligibility

·       Separate competitions for year 3+4 and year 5+6 age groups

Team size/entry

·       The on-court team size is 6, Maximum squad size per team is 10.

·       No restriction on entry numbers

·       First-come-first served will apply

·       Friday 26 January, 2023 – 4-6pm – Year 5+6 Competition

·       Friday 9 February, 2023 – 4-6pm – Year 3+4 Competition

·       £35 per team

Weather considerations

·       None

Kit considerations

·       Uniform kit colours required.

·       Bibs available if needed

Parking and spectators

·       The Bridge leisure centre. Spectators welcome but must view from outside the multicourt fencing

Ethos/Fair Play

·       Fun and participation as opposed to win-at-all-costs

·       No trophies/ no medals – certificates for all (winners, runners up, participation achievement recognised)

Rules

·       Please note that the downloadable guidelines refer to 4-a-side. For that aspect we’ll be keeping to 6-a-side

.       Further to feedback regarding previous events we will adopt the point scoring convention of 2 points to be awarded each time a side is fully out, and 1 point at the end of a match for the team with most players still on the pitch. The central timer will not disclose the time as the matches draw to a close. This rule varies from that shown on the rules download.

Conditions

·       Invoicing will be undertaken at booking deadline

·       No refunds will be issued for schools/teams that drop out after booking deadline

·       Additional teams can be accepted after the booking deadline at the discretion of the organisers
