Year 5+6 pupils

Maximum of 2 boys on court at any given time

Younger pupils can play at school discretion

5-a-side on pitch

Maximum squad size 8

Schools can enter up to 2 teams. However they can express an interest to enter more and if spaces are still available at the entry deadline they will be allocated. If there is excess demand for spare spaces lots will be drawn to allocate.

Dates/times

All league meetings to run 4.00-5.30pm weekly on Thursdays with different divisions running on different dates. Divisional dates and fixtures will be confirmed shortly after the entry deadline. The season will start on the first Thursday after October half term (ie 2nd November).

£33 per team per meeting

Note that the defending rule is now changing in line with revised England Netball  rules for the primary age group. Arms and hands of a defending player are now allowed to be kept above shoulder height for as long as desired in front of the player with possession of the ball.

Weather considerations

There is no indoor cover space available in the event of very bad weather. Any cancellation decisions necessary will be communicated as early as possible taking into account prevailing and forecast conditions

Kit considerations

Teams should be in uniform colours as far as possible but bibs will be available in the event of clashes

Parking and spectators

Use the main leisure centre car park at The Bridge.

Spectators (eg parents) are allowed but must view through the fence from outside the multicourt

Toilets

The nearest toilets are at The Bridge leisure centre

Schools should implement their own protocols linked to their players visiting the toilet when necessary

Booking

Use e-form. Deadline: end of Friday 4th October

Conditions

Invoicing will be undertaken at the start of each half term period for the meetings scheduled within that period

No refunds will be issued for schools/teams that drop out of a meeting within a half term period after the invoicing has been undertaken

If a refund is necessary because of a cancelled meeting (eg due to bad weather) then it will be executed and reconciled at the end of the league season

Additional teams can be accepted after the booking deadline at the discretion of the organisers

In the event of a bad weather cancellation and where a re-arrangement process is undertaken no refunds will be issued
